A well travelled life led me back to the Okanagan…
& I want to share it.
What inspires me
I am drawn to travel & learning about other cultures which I think stemmed from my formative years in Nigeria and moving to Japan at 16 years old. Wherever I found myself whether it be Spain, France, Italy, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Greece & on, I discovered food and drink was a direct line to the heart of the culture. I found it gave you a window into a country’s soul.
When it clicked
My passion for wines started young when I worked picking grapes for small wineries. The pull to return to the Okanagan is strong & each time I visit I am reminded of how great the wines are. I decided it was time to begin my studies in wine which strengthened my belief that Okanagan wines deserve more recognition internationally. Many people I spoke with in the industry knew little if anything about the beautiful microclimate that is the Okanagan.
What I do
Provide wine and knowledge from one of the wine industry’s best kept secrets, the Okanagan Valley.
